Dues

Dues are $80 in total, of which $49 goes to National AAUW and $31 supports our branch.  Remember, $46 of the National dues amount is deductible for federal income taxes because it goes to support AAUW’s educational activities.  The $3 of National dues that is not deductible goes to support AAUW’s lobbying efforts (e.g., Lobby Corps).  Lobbying costs are not deductible for federal income tax.
